To be eligible for admission to the curriculum leading to the Postgraduate Diploma in Molecular and Diagnostic Pathology, a candidate shall:a) comply with the General Regulations;b) comply with the Regulations for Taught Postgraduate Curricula;c) hold a degree of MBBS of this University, or a Bachelor's degree with honors, or a qualification of equivalent standard from this University or another comparable institution accepted for this purpose;d) satisfy the University English language requirement applicable to high degrees as prescribed under General Regulation G2(b), if he/she is seeking admission on the basis of a qualification from a university or comparable institution outside Hong Kong of which the language of teaching and/or examination is not English; ande) satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination, if required.Advanced standing for up to a maximum of 12 credits, for the Postgraduate Diploma in Molecular and Diagnostic Pathology, may be granted to a candidate who has successfully completed one or more courses in the Postgraduate Certificate in Molecular and Diagnostic Pathology (PCMDPath); subject to the condition that such course(s) should be completed no more than 2 years prior to the commencement of the PDipMDPath curricula.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Molecular and Diagnostic Pathology (PDipMDPath) programme aims to provide health care professionals with a deeper understanding of the molecular and genetic basis of diseases and the application of molecular technologies in disease management. The programme will be delivered through didactic seminars, tutorials and case studies/practicals, with self-assessment exercises and completion of a project report for students reading for the Diploma. On-line teaching and discussion will also form a part of the learning experience.

This programme aims to provide opportunities for graduates with relevant background to be equipped with in-depth knowledge and skills for working in the active field of psychosis, including clinical service, education, public awareness, and research in the field of psychosis.

This is a two-year part-time or one-year full-time postgraduate programme offered by the School of Biological Sciences. The objective is to provide comprehensive and advanced training on a multi-disciplinary field involving general toxicology, food toxicology, regulatory toxicology and food safety management.
