The Master of Biological Science will give students an understanding of the molecular evolution, structure, physiology, reproduction, behaviour and ecology of organisms, and the skills to apply this knowledge to the management of natural systems and the species they support. The Conservation Biology specialisation focuses on the management of plants and animals and their ecosystems in which they occur. Ecology focuses on ecological challenges and provides an advanced understanding of ecological processes that drive biodiversity across various scales of time and space. Marine Biology - gain knowledge of marine organisms, their habitats and ecosystem functions.
The course extends between one and two semesters of supervised research preparation and/or examination as prescribed by the Faculty on the recommendation of the relevant head of school.
To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—(a) the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from this University, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty; or(b)(i)a bachelor's degree in a health, biomedical, or biological sciences related discipline from this University or another recognised institution; and(ii) in the case of graduates from a three-year undergraduate degree course, at least one year of professional experience; or(c) completed the Graduate Certificate in Health Professional/Professions Education or the Graduate Diploma in Health Professional/Professions Education from this University with the equivalent of at least 70 per cent in all core units

The Master of Music International Pedagogy is delivered predominantly online, with two residential components of two to three weeks to be taken before completion.

This course includes an individual research project or a practicum in the State Pathology Laboratory Service.

Heritage Studies is a cross-disciplinary strategic research area at UWA providing increased research opportunities and capabilities for its students. You will be taught first-hand by international experts, have the option of gaining heritage experience in various parts of the world, take part in heritage study tours and undertake professional heritage work placements.

The Master of Rural and Remote Medicine is a broad-based degree for those wishing to pursue a career in teaching or research focused on rural and remote medicine.
This course is taught on a case-by-case basis, where the Faculty decides whether you must complete a preliminary course of study before becoming eligible for admission to a higher degree by research.
