The Postgraduate Certificate in Educational Studies (International Baccalaureate?) – Diploma Programme Stream, has been designed to provide teachers with theoretical and practical skills related to the (IB) Diploma Programme and IB education more broadly. This postgraduate study comprising four compulsory subjects, which can be taken as part of a Master of Education, provides students with a balance between theory and practice and assist them to integrate educational research and DP pedagogy into a supportive and challenging learning environment that considers local, national and international perspectives. The course covers topics such as international-mindedness, student-driven inquiry, assessment and learning, and reflective practice.

A masters degree in education with at least a 75% average, or equivalent.

The Graduate Certificate in Educational Research is a pathway into a research degree for those with a coursework masters, but who are currently ineligible for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) - Education.

The Graduate Certificate in Environment is a flexible, multidisciplinary course that enables students to develop knowledge for professional practice in environment or sustainability.

A four-year undergraduate degree, or A three-year undergraduate degree and either a postgraduate qualification or at least three years of documented relevant work experience.
