The ANU Master of Neuroscience (Advanced) is a two-year program that consists of one year coursework plus a year of independent research. The coursework component will provide you with an advanced knowledge of current concepts in neuroscience, and will support those who wish to move into a neuroscience field from related areas of science and psychology but do not have a significant neuroscience background.
Admission to all programs is on a competitive basis. Admission to undergraduate degrees is based on meeting the ATAR requirement or an equivalent rank derived from the following qualifications:
? An Australian year 12 qualification or international equivalent
You’ll gain the fundamental knowledge of the medical sciences required to continue with further study in medicine or pursue a career in areas such as medical research, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nutrition, dietetics and forensic science.
Admission is based on:
?weighted grade point average (GPA) calculated from the results of the last three years of the most recent Bachelor Degree (25%);
?GAMSAT score (25%) and;
?Interview (50%)
The Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, Medicinae ac Chirurgiae Doctoranda, (MChD) is an AQF Level 9 Extended qualification. It is a comprehensive and varied four year course for graduate students looking to enter the rewarding field of medicine as professional medical practitioners.
