1、請(qǐng)依照學(xué)校要求字?jǐn)?shù)撰寫(xiě)
每所學(xué)校都會(huì)有不同字?jǐn)?shù)要求，有些要求在1000字內(nèi)(例如倫敦政治經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院LSE) 或是600字內(nèi)(KCL)，這些要求如果沒(méi)有做到，很容易就會(huì)被學(xué)校刷下了!
2、請(qǐng)依照學(xué)校要求內(nèi)容撰寫(xiě)
大部份學(xué)校要求都是需要寫(xiě)申請(qǐng)此專(zhuān)業(yè)的動(dòng)機(jī)，為何決定申請(qǐng)此學(xué)位，專(zhuān)業(yè)與你學(xué)業(yè)背景還有工作有和相關(guān)，未來(lái)的就業(yè)計(jì)劃。
另外，值得注意的是，英國(guó)留學(xué)文書(shū)申請(qǐng)比較偏向?qū)W生將學(xué)業(yè)背景還有經(jīng)驗(yàn)與專(zhuān)業(yè)做個(gè)連接。
也就是說(shuō)，一定要圍繞在此專(zhuān)業(yè)相關(guān)的資訊，如果添加不相干的容易被刷下來(lái)。
實(shí)際例子：
LSE網(wǎng)頁(yè)上面清清楚楚就寫(xiě)了他門(mén)不會(huì)錄用的PS內(nèi)容(poor personal statement)：
“I was the captain of the school football team and excelled in most other sports. I have also worked part-time in a sports store to earn money for university.”
此句子并沒(méi)有展現(xiàn)沒(méi)有你對(duì)此專(zhuān)業(yè)以及對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)上進(jìn)入大學(xué)后有任何幫助。
因此，應(yīng)該要這樣修改，由此例句來(lái)對(duì)照。
“I was the captain of the school football team, and this has taught me the importance of working together as a team, and allowed me to prioritise my time between my studies and football practice. I feel that this has provided me with the experience to successfully balance my academic and social life, and I plan to continue this balance whilst at university."

“I am currently studying History, English and Business and Management at Higher level and Italian, Maths and Chemistry at Standard level in the International Baccalaureate, and feel that these subjects are providing me with a solid background for university study.”
(這些你學(xué)過(guò)的科目不用在重復(fù)，因?yàn)閷徃迦藛T也可以看你的transcript 得知你所學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)的科系以及分?jǐn)?shù)，這些內(nèi)容只是浪費(fèi)空間)
“I want to study History because I want to be a world class Historian, and feel that this degree will help me. I am especially interested in Ancient History, particularly the history concerning the Roman Empire. I am fascinated by the way in which the empire was run, and the events that led to its downfall.”

(太過(guò)傲慢，需要積極正面說(shuō)說(shuō)自己的好且謙虛，千萬(wàn)不要自以為是)
