三分之一的美國(guó)大學(xué)表示今年不使用CAAS系統(tǒng)申請(qǐng)

目前CAAS有93所成員校，其中超過(guò)1/3表明今年申請(qǐng)季(2016-2017)不會(huì)用該系統(tǒng)。

起初，它們加入聯(lián)盟系統(tǒng)，堅(jiān)定支持申請(qǐng)的改革。但現(xiàn)在不管出于什么原因，在即將開啟的2016-2017年申請(qǐng)季，它們有相當(dāng)一部分選擇了退后一步：今年不使用該申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)。

當(dāng)被問(wèn)及為何加入CAAS，而又不用它申請(qǐng)時(shí)，各院校給的答復(fù)是驚人的相似：“我們對(duì)新技術(shù)(新平臺(tái))還沒有準(zhǔn)備好”或者『我們?cè)谡D自己的內(nèi)部申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)，(目前)不太可能再加一個(gè)其他申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)?！?/p>

不過(guò)在這些解釋中，既看不到對(duì)CAAS聯(lián)盟系統(tǒng)的任何批評(píng)，也看不到這些大學(xué)會(huì)用Common app的任何跡象。

CAAS管理者倒是表示支持，理解它們因?yàn)楦鞣N原因今年不用該系統(tǒng)。

今年不采用CAAS申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)的是下面這些大學(xué)：

• Tell a story from your life, describing an experience that either demonstrates your character or helped to shape it.

• Has there been a time when you've had a long-cherished or accepted belief challenged? How did you respond? How did the challenge affect your beliefs?
