日前，英國簽證與移民局(UK Visa & Immigration)UKVI發(fā)布最新消息:
持Tier4簽證的學生，如果需要補考或者重修(包括不能在規(guī)定的時間內完成學業(yè)的)，允許在英國境內申請簽證延期，不受Academic Progression規(guī)則的限制。
無論簽證到期與否，學生都必須在補考前申請簽證延期，補考后再申請將不能獲得免修資格。
如果學生已經參加了補考，然后發(fā)現需要更多的滯留時間，則必須回國重新申請簽證。

Following the recent changes to UKVI Academic Progression Rules, Tier 4 students who need to do resits or repeats (and are unable to complete their studies within the time granted) are allowed to apply for a visa extension from within in the UK. These students are exempt from the Academic Progression rule.
However, students must apply BEFORE resitting, regardless of whether they have leave remaining on their current visa or not. They will not qualify for an exemption after resitting. If they do resit and then find that extra time is required – they’ll have to return to their home country and apply for another visa to complete their studies.
