英美法系VS大陸法系

根據(jù)世界各國(guó)法律基本特征, 世界上現(xiàn)存有三大法系: 大陸法系、英美法系與伊斯蘭法系, 其中大陸法系和英美法系是世界上應(yīng)用范圍最廣。英美法系, 又稱(chēng)普通法法系, 是以英國(guó)的普通法為基礎(chǔ), 現(xiàn)在在英國(guó)、美國(guó)、以及曾是英國(guó)殖民地、附屬?lài)?guó)的國(guó)家和地區(qū)，如印度、巴基斯坦、新加坡、加拿大、澳大利亞、新西蘭、馬來(lái)西亞、中國(guó)香港地區(qū)都有應(yīng)用。大陸法系, 又稱(chēng)為民法法系, 起源可以追溯到古羅馬，后擴(kuò)大到整個(gè)歐洲大陸, 法國(guó)、德國(guó)、意大利、日本、中國(guó)(除中國(guó)香港)等均采用大陸法系。

英國(guó)大學(xué)的法律專(zhuān)業(yè)細(xì)分及職業(yè)走向

英國(guó)法律相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)的碩士分LLM(法學(xué)碩士)與MSc/MA(理學(xué)碩士/文學(xué)碩士)兩種, 申請(qǐng)LLM學(xué)位的專(zhuān)業(yè)大多需要申請(qǐng)人有相關(guān)的法律背景或者具備法律相關(guān)工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)的申請(qǐng)者。非法律背景的申請(qǐng)人建議申請(qǐng)MSc/MA學(xué)位的法律相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè), 這類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)一般都是法律與商科、社會(huì)學(xué)相結(jié)合的學(xué)科, 只要學(xué)生表達(dá)出對(duì)法律專(zhuān)業(yè)的濃厚興趣以及學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī)，通常不要求學(xué)生有相關(guān)的專(zhuān)業(yè)背景。
